In Lima, on Christmas Eve they light HUUUUGE fireworks to celebrate baby jesus. Moreso than they light on New Years. I swear some of them looked like Disney fireworks.
I think the most fulfilling part about staying with Patti and the boys was being able to wake up to Lucas every morning (usually early, except when I was sick) and watch Barney with him while he ate his breakfast.
I forgot how funny Patricio is. He's turning into a rockstar.
Patti asked what I wanted my last meal to be. My answer: Aji de gallina y papas a la huancaina. MMMM. I think I gained 5 lbs in that one day alone.
Christmas day lunch was delicious as well. Arroz con pavo y ensalada de choclo. The corn salad was definitely one of the tastiest things i've ever had. Also a side of apricot sauce.
